Armed Robbery Shakes Quiet Kent Neighbourhood
Chaos hit Wentworth Drive, Kent, at 8:08pm on Sunday, 20 November 2022, when burglars smashed into a house and made off with valuables. A woman in her 70s was inside at the time but thankfully came out unharmed.
Suspects Nabbed Across London and Kent
- Bakay Behdjet, 31, from Catford, London, was arrested on 26 November and charged with robbery.
- He appeared at Medway Magistrates’ Court on 28 November, remanded in custody, and awaits trial at Maidstone Crown Court on 3 January 2023.
- Another 31-year-old London man was arrested on 23 November but released on bail until 24 January 2023.
- A 35-year-old from Swanscombe was picked up on 25 November and also bailed until 28 December.
Investigation Ongoing
Kent Police are continuing to dig deeper into the brazen break-in. They urge anyone with information to come forward as inquiries intensify.
