Sting Operation Nabbed Moore in Portswood
Moore was arrested on January 6 on Portswood Road, Southampton, following a covert operation by the ‘S.K.I.D Community’ group. Decoys posing as a young girl named ‘India’ gathered damning evidence against him.
The 43-year-old reportedly used explicit language and sent nude photos to ‘India’, planning to meet at her auntie’s house that very afternoon.
Guilty Plea and Heavy Sentencing
Moore admitted guilt earlier this month to charges of attempting to engage in sexual communication with a child and grooming with intent to meet.
This morning, Southampton Crown Court sentenced him to 16 months in prison. He also received a 10-year Sexual Harm Prevention Order and must register indefinitely on the Sex Offenders Register.
