Medway, formerly of Freshwater and now of no fixed address, appeared at Isle of Wight Crown Court on Monday. He confessed to the horrific rape that took place in Yarmouth on August 31 this year.

Recorder Simone Levene ordered a criminal risk report to assess just how dangerous Medway remains. The 62-year-old faces life imprisonment after his admission, with sentencing set for January 8, 2021.
