Manhunt Intensifies for Robert Powell’s Killer
Detectives are closing in on the last suspect wanted over the brutal murder of 50-year-old Robert Powell. Temitope Adeyinka, 38, aka “Limo,” remains on the run after Robert was shot outside his home in Roydon in June 2020.
Two Suspects Nabbed in International Hunt
Police have arrested two men, turning the heat up on Adeyinka. Israar Shah, 38, was caught in Spain and extradited back to the UK. He appeared in court on 20 March facing murder charges and is now in custody, with his next hearing set for 12 June at chelmsford/" title="Chelmsford" data-wpil-keyword-link="linked">Chelmsford Crown Court.
Another suspect, Nana Oppong, 42, was detained by Moroccan authorities under a Red Notice. He faces charges including murder and firearm offences and remains in Morocco amid ongoing extradition proceedings.
£10,000 Reward to Snitch on ‘Limo’
The police and charity Crimestoppers have upped the reward to £10,000 for any info leading to Adeyinka’s arrest. Detective Superintendent Stephen Jennings urged the public to come forward and made a direct appeal to Adeyinka:
“Robert’s death was shocking, violent and heartless. His family has suffered unbearable grief for over two-and-a-half years. “Temitope Adeyinka, aka Limo, is around 5ft 8ins tall, medium build, with ties to East London. He may have fled abroad. “Limo, it’s only a matter of time before we catch you. The best move is to hand yourself in and tell your side before it’s told for you. “Help us bring justice for Robert’s family.
