Kent teenager arrested after man is assaulted and child threatened
A teenage boy has been arrested after a man was injured and a child was threatened in Barham The man was reportedly assaulted and the child threatened moments earlier with a weapon in Brickfield Road at around 4.30pm on Saturday 16 March 2019. Officers attended the scene and searched the area but the suspect had left prior to their arrival. The victim was taken to hospital for treatment to a hand injury. The child was unhurt. Following enquiries, the teenager was arrested on Sunday 17 March 2019 and remains in police custody while the investigation continues.
