Teenager Stabbed in Brighton Street Brawl – Police Hunt for Suspects
Knife Attack Rocks Brighton
A 16-year-old boy was rushed to hospital after being stabbed during a violent altercation on North Street, Brighton, on Tuesday evening. Emergency services scrambled to the scene just before 6pm following reports of a fight involving three youths.
Sussex Police revealed the victim suffered a knife wound but stressed the injury was “not believed to be life-threatening.” Paramedics treated him at the scene before transferring him to hospital.
Police Launch Full Investigation
Officers conducted a search but failed to find anyone connected to the stabbing. Sussex Police are now poring over CCTV footage and urgently appealing for witnesses to step forward.
A police spokesperson said: “Further CCTV and witness enquiries are ongoing to establish the circumstances. Anyone with information should contact us online or by calling 101, quoting reference 1035 of 11/02. Increased patrols will be in the area to provide reassurance.”
Ambulance Service Confirms Treatment at the Scene
The South East Coast Ambulance Service attended the incident and confirmed the victim received prompt medical attention.
A SECAmb spokesperson told Sussex News: “We responded to reports of a person with a leg injury. The individual was assessed, treated, and taken to hospital.”
