Met Police Superintendent and Two Others Convicted Over Child Abuse Images
Three individuals, including a senior Metropolitan Police officer, have been found guilty for the possession and distribution of indecent images of a child following a high-profile investigation.
Top Cop Convicted at Old Bailey
Novlett Robyn Williams, 54, a superintendent in Frontline Policing, was convicted on Tuesday 19 November at the Old Bailey for possessing an indecent moving image of a child. Despite the conviction, she was cleared of charges relating to failing to report the image’s distribution.
Accomplices Also Guilty
Jennifer Hodge, 56, from Deacon Road, NW2, was found guilty of distributing the same indecent moving image of a child. Meanwhile, Dido Massivi, 61, also of Deacon Road, was convicted not only of distributing the image but also of possessing extreme pornography after more illegal material was discovered on his phone.
Sentencing Looms
All three offenders are due to be sentenced on Tuesday, 26 November.
