Two Arrested After Man Dies from Head Injuries in Walsall
West Midlands Police have nabbed two men in a chilling murder probe following the death of a 55-year-old man in Walsall.
Man Found with Serious Head Wounds
The victim was discovered with severe head injuries on Wednesbury Road in the early hours of Saturday, 11 October. He was rushed to hospital and treated but after returning home, his condition worsened last Thursday (16 October).
He was taken back to hospital and sadly died that evening. Police believe he was assaulted on 11 October, though the exact cause of death is still under investigation.
Murder Investigation Underway, Suspects Held
Two men, aged 18 and 28, were arrested this morning and remain in custody as detectives dig deeper into the case.
Officers are keen to hear from anyone in the Wednesbury Road area at the time or who has CCTV or dashcam footage that might help the investigation.
