A 29-year-old suspect has finally been arrested over the deadly stabbing of Okechukwu Iweha, 46, in Worcester Avenue, N17. The victim tragically died after the brutal attack on April 7, 2024. Police have been investigating the case for months, but made a breakthrough this week.

Devon Brown caught at Heathrow after US extradition

Devon Brown, who has no fixed address, was snapped up at Heathrow Airport on Friday, January 24, 2025, after being extradited from the United States. He faces a string of serious charges including murder, manslaughter, knife possession, and perverting the course of justice.

Brown is due to appear in custody at Uxbridge Magistrates’ Court on Saturday, January 25, as detectives continue to piece together what happened that fatal night.

Second suspect already behind bars

The case has already seen another arrest. Leandro Kaienga, 28, also with no fixed abode, was charged with murder and possession of a bladed weapon. Kaienga is remanded in custody ahead of his trial at Wood Green Crown Court set for February 24, 2025.
