A woman from Tunbridge Wells faced a chilling ordeal when a suspicious man repeatedly followed her around the Royal Victoria Place shopping centre on Monday, 17 November 2025.

Police launched an urgent appeal for witnesses that quickly paid off. Anthony Leigh, 42, from Rock Villa Road, Tunbridge Wells, was arrested on Monday, 1 December.
Leigh Charged Over Harassment
Leigh now faces charges of causing harassment, alarm or distress. He has been granted bail with strict conditions and will appear at Sevenoaks Magistrates’ Court on 9 February 2026.
