A 33-year-old man has been charged with attempted murder following a shocking collision in Southwark.
Shaik Rahman Arrested After Hit-and-Run
Shaik Rahman, from Bermondsey Wall East, SE16, was charged on Tuesday, 10 March. The charges include attempted murder and dangerous driving. Rahman is set to appear in custody at croydon/" title="Croydon" data-wpil-keyword-link="linked">Croydon Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, 11 November.
Teenager Left Critical After Hit-and-Run
The incident happened on Saturday, 7 March, at Wilson Grove, SE16. Police were called to a crash involving a car and a motorbike. The driver of the car failed to stop at the scene.
The motorbike rider, a 16-year-old boy from Southwark, was rushed to an east London hospital and remains in critical condition. His family has been informed.
Police Make Arrest Following Investigation
Rahman was arrested on Monday, 9 March, in south London on suspicion of attempted murder. He was charged the following day, as investigations continue.
