Man Charged with Murder After East Ham Pedestrian Killing
Trevelle Rowland, 33, from Cornelia Street, N7, has been charged with murder following a fatal incident in East Ham. He is due in court today, Tuesday 26 March, at Thames Magistrates’ Court.
Early Morning Horror on Barking Road
The drama unfolded in the early hours of Sunday, 24 March, after reports of a collision between a car and a pedestrian near Barking Road and Arragon Road at 5:11am.
Police rushed to the scene to provide medical aid to the 35-year-old victim, identified as Fergany Mvuezolo from East London. Despite desperate efforts, he was pronounced dead shortly after.
Swift Police Action Leads to Arrest at Heathrow
Following urgent inquiries, officers arrested a man at Heathrow Airport just hours later, around 3:05pm the same day. That man was Trevelle Rowland, who now faces murder charges.
Woman Arrested and Released on Bail
In a related development, a 30-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender. She has since been released on bail as investigations continue.
