Man Charged with Murder Over Teen Tafari Thompson-Mintah’s Death
40-Year-Old Arrested After Fatal Incident
Detectives have charged Joseph Barnes, 40, with murder in connection to the death of 16-year-old Tafari Thompson-Mintah. Barnes, who has no fixed address, was arrested on Thursday, 12 October and charged two days later. He is due to appear at Bromley Magistrates’ Court on Monday, 16 October.
Tragic Scene on Sevenoaks Way
The tragedy unfolded on Monday, 9 October at around 3:30pm on Sevenoaks Way, St Paul’s Cray. Tafari was riding his moped when the fatal incident occurred. Paramedics tried desperately to save him, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
