Man Charged After Fatal Crash Near Bournemouth Airport
A fatal hit-and-run in Christchurch has led to a man being charged and due in court. The crash, involving a Honda Civic and a 16-year-old pedestrian, happened on Parley Lane at 9.37pm on June 30, 2023.

Multiple Arrests in Ongoing Investigation
- An 18-year-old man from Wales was arrested on suspicion of driving offences and later released on bail.
- A 39-year-old woman from Ferndown was also arrested on suspicion of perverting the course of justice and released on bail.
- Further probes led to the arrest of a 25-year-old man from Poole, now charged with causing death by dangerous driving, failing to stop, and driving without insurance.
He is set to appear at Poole Magistrates’ Court on July 3, 2023.
Police Appeal for Witnesses and Dashcam Footage
“We offer our deepest condolences to the family during this heartbreaking time,” said Detective Constable Michelle Underwood. “We urge anyone with information or dashcam footage to come forward.”
