Swindon Man Found Guilty of Threatening to Kill and Assaulting Police
Claudio Stroud Convicted at Swindon Crown Court
Claudio Stroud, 23, from Tennyson Street, Swindon, was found guilty of a string of offences, including threatening to kill a woman and assaulting police officers. The jury at Swindon Crown Court handed down the verdict on Monday, September 30.
Violent Incident on March 22
The charges stem from an incident last March, when officers responded to a call at a Swindon address. A woman in her 20s reported being repeatedly assaulted by Stroud, who was her partner at the time.
Stroud was arrested the following day. During his arrest, he attacked two police officers, leading to further charges.
