Aylesbury Man Banned from Tesco After Shocking Assault and Abuse Spree

Thug Given Three-Year Criminal Behaviour Order

Following a Thames Valley Police probe, Richard Mitchell, 45, from Harcourt Green, Aylesbury, has been slapped with a Criminal Behaviour Order (CBO). The order came after a hearing at High Wycombe Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, 22 October.

Ban Bans Mitchell From Tesco and Town Centre

The three-year CBO bans Mitchell from entering the Tesco on Tring Road, Aylesbury. It also orders him to leave any premises or Aylesbury Town Centre area immediately if asked by authorised personnel.

Violent Outburst Sparks Tough Police Action

  • On 18 January, Mitchell verbally abused council staff outside Tesco and then assaulted one.
  • He also verbally abused ambulance workers and attacked a member of the public the same day.
  • Following his arrest, he was abusive towards police officers and staff.

Police Stand Firm Against Anti-Social Behaviour

“We have worked with the Crown Prosecution Service to obtain a Criminal Behaviour Order following Mitchell’s behaviour,” said PC Sarah McCarthy from Aylesbury police station.

“I want to thank the victims affected by these incidents and the Tesco staff on Tring Road. This order shows we will not tolerate behaviour harmful to our local businesses or communities. Offenders will face justice.”
