Van crashes on M20 – cops find stash of LSD and ketamine

A Leeds man is behind bars after police uncovered a huge haul of drugs following a collision on the M20 near Aylesford.

On Wednesday 22 July 2020, kent-police/" title="Kent Police" data-wpil-keyword-link="linked">Kent Police spotted a van driving erratically on the coastbound carriageway near Blue Bell Hill. The vehicle came to a stop against the hard shoulder barrier.

The driver, Jack Supple, 31, later admitted taking ketamine. Police arrested him and searched his van, finding perforated cardboard sheets packed with LSD deals on the sun visor and inside a sports bag.

They also found a small bag of ketamine in the passenger footwell.

Drug stash and £2,000 cash seized from address

Police searched Supple’s home in Maidstone’s Upper Street and uncovered even more LSD deals hidden alongside around £2,000 in cash concealed inside a bottle.

Supple was charged with possession of Class A drugs with intent to supply, possession of Class B drugs, and acquiring criminal property.

Four-and-a-half years in prison for big-time dealer

At Maidstone Crown Court, Supple pleaded guilty and was sentenced on 23 June 2021 to four years and six months behind bars.

Detective Constable Tony Hatcher of Tonbridge CID said: “Our officers seized 12,342 LSD deals with an estimated street value of nearly £21,000. This is a significant quantity of Class A drugs. It’s only right Supple is now serving a prison sentence.”

“Drug dealers profiting from crime won’t get off lightly. We will be seeking confiscation of the cash found at his home.”
