Chilling 999 Call Led Cops to Gruesome Scene
In the early hours of 6 September last year, Sinclair rang 999 to confess he had killed Kylie at her home in Blossom Lane, Theale. Police found Kylie with severe stab wounds to her neck and chest. Despite desperate attempts to save her, she was pronounced dead at the scene.
Justice Served for Kylie
Sinclair was arrested immediately and charged with murder. The jury returned a unanimous guilty verdict on 12 March, leading to today’s sentencing at Reading Crown Court.
Detective Inspector Dejan Avramovic from Thames Valley Police said: “Sinclair’s actions were callous and violent in a situation that must have been terrifying for Kylie, especially in her own home. I would like to praise Kylie’s family for their bravery through what must have been a difficult process. I hope they feel that justice has been achieved for Kylie.”
