Teen Arrested After Brutal Attack in Lincoln City Centre
15-Year-Old in Custody Over Assault
A 15-year-old boy has been arrested following a serious assault in Lincoln city centre. CCTV footage captured a group in City Square at 11:03pm on May 9 before the attack unfolded.
Man Left Unconscious with Head Injury
The victim, a man in his 50s, was reportedly left unconscious with a head injury. Police rushed to the scene to provide urgent care before paramedics took him to hospital. He has since been discharged.
CCTV Praised for Cracking Case
Officers arrested the teenage suspect on suspicion of Actual Bodily Harm (ABH). He has now been released under investigation as inquiries continue.
Newly elected Police and Crime Commissioner Marc Jones hailed the CCTV team’s quick action. He tweeted:
