Crossbow Dart Attack in Shoreditch: Man Hospitalised with Neck Injury
A man in his 20s was rushed to hospital last night after being seriously injured by a crossbow dart in East London. The shocking attack happened around 7:30 pm on March 14 at Arnold Circus, Shoreditch.
Emergency Services Swift to the Scene
Police and paramedics arrived promptly after reports of a man injured on the street. They found the victim with a severe neck wound, believed to be caused by a crossbow dart. London Ambulance Service deployed ambulance crews, paramedics in fast-response cars, and a trauma team from London’s Air Ambulance charity—though no air transport was needed.
A spokesperson said, “We treated a patient at the scene before taking them to a major trauma centre.” Thankfully, medics say the injury is not life-threatening or life-changing.
No Arrests Yet as Police Urge Witnesses to Speak Up
