Bradford Man Jailed for 13 Years Over Child Sex Crimes
Abdullah Mhana, 26, from Bradford, has been slammed with a 13-year prison sentence after pleading guilty to multiple horrific offences, including rape, sexual assault, and creating indecent images of a child.
17 Charges Reveal Sickening Crimes
Living at Hirst Lodge Court in Bradford, Mhana admitted to 17 charges at Bradford Crown Court. These included:
- Five counts of rape
- Seven counts of making indecent images
- One count of sexual assault on a child
- One offence of causing a child to witness a sexual act
- One instance of assault by penetration
- One offence of causing or inciting a child under 13 to engage in sexual activity
Over 14,000 Indecent Images Found
The court heard Mhana had over 14,000 indecent images stored on his devices. He targeted victims on social media, grooming them before arranging meetings in parks and even inside his car.
One of the most appalling cases involved an 11-year-old girl. Mhana pretended to be 17 years old, but was actually 23. His actions have devastated the victims and their families.
Harsh Sentence and Lifetime Restrictions
On April 8, Bradford Crown Court sentenced Mhana to 13 years behind bars. He must also sign the sex offenders register and comply with a sexual harm prevention order.
This sentence reflects the serious and lasting impact of his crimes on vulnerable children in the community.
