Man Left Fighting for Life After Brutal EC1 Attack
Police are hunting suspects after a man was brutally assaulted in London’s EC1 area, leaving him with life-threatening head and facial injuries.
Early Morning Attack on Saffron Hill
Officers rushed to Saffron Hill at 3.45am on Saturday, 19 May following reports of a 51-year-old man found seriously injured. The victim was rushed to an East London hospital, where he remains in critical condition.
Suspects Flee Scene, Police Launch Appeal
The assault is believed to have been carried out by an unknown individual or group who fled before police arrived. No arrests have been made. A crime scene remains in place, and road closures have been enforced in the area.

Police want to speak to anyone who spotted this man in the Portpool Lane area shortly after the attack.
