Met Police Hunt Missing Suspect in Kingston Bike Theft Spree
The Met Police are on the lookout for 22-year-old Eric Andrews, who has vanished without a trace. Last spotted in Kingston, Andrews is described as white, with long brown hair tied back and short dark facial hair. He has no fixed address.
Spike in Stolen Bikes Sparks Major Investigation
Residents have reported a surge in bike thefts throughout November and December 2023. In response, Met specialist crime officers teamed up with local proactive units to crack down on the crime wave. So far, five suspects have been hauled into court.
One 22-year-old man handed himself in at Wandsworth Police Station and was later bailed as inquiries continue.
Detective Pleads for Public Help to Nab Fugitive
Detective Chief Inspector Dan O’Sullivan, leading the hunt, said: “Listening to local residents, tackling violent crime, and reducing burglary are key priorities for our ‘A New Met for London’ plan.
I want to thank the victims for coming forward and our officers for a precise operation that took down five suspects. Now, we need the public’s help to track down the outstanding suspect, Eric Andrews.
