Brutal Brixton Bar Stabbing: Detectives Hunt Angry Mob Suspect
Detectives in Lambeth have released a photo of a man they want to question after a violent stabbing at a Brixton bar left a worker with a punctured lung.
Early Morning Attack at Brixton Bar
Police were called at 5.06am on Saturday 28 July following reports of a stabbing on Brixton Road, SW9. Officers found a 29-year-old staff member with a stab wound to his back. He was rushed to Kings College Hospital and treated for a punctured lung.
Three Staff Members Assaulted in Night-time Brawl
Two other staff were also hurt during the chaos. A 27-year-old man suffered a cut to his arm, while a 22-year-old was struck on the head. The attacks broke out after a group of men became violent when asked to leave the venue as it closed.
