Urgent Hunt on for Double Murder Suspect in Islington
Detectives have launched a desperate manhunt for 19-year-old Lorik Lupqi after a brutal double stabbing in Islington. The Archway local, linked to east and south-west London, is wanted over the fatal attack that claimed the lives of 15-year-old Leonardo Reid and 23-year-old Klevi Shekaj on the night of June 29 in Elthorne Road.
Police Warn: Do Not Approach Lupqi
Authorities are urging anyone with information to dial 999 immediately and quote reference CAD 9383/29Jun. They stress that Lupqi should not be confronted due to the danger he poses.
Victims Died from Chest Stabbings, Third Injured
Post-mortem reports confirm both victims died from stab wounds to the chest. Meanwhile, a third man, 28, was also stabbed during the attack but is stable in hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The Metropolitan Police’s Specialist Crime Command is supporting the grieving families.
