Charlotte Huggins, 33, was fatally stabbed at her home on John Ruskin Street, Camberwell, just after 4am on New Year’s Day.
Ex-Partner Arrested and Convicted
Her ex-partner, Michael Rolle, 34, was arrested two days later. During the trial, the court heard he stabbed Charlotte in the back during a heated row days after she told him she wanted to end their relationship.
Life Sentence for Killer
On 18 July, a jury found Rolle guilty of murder. He was sentenced to life behind bars, with a minimum of 20 years before he can even apply for parole.
