Man Charged After Fatal Stabbing at Hayes Care Home
Rajinder Pall, 44, from Lansbury Drive, Hayes, was charged on Wednesday, 4 January. He is set to appear at Uxbridge Magistrates’ Court in custody the next day, Thursday, 5 January.
Tragic Death at Supported Accommodation
Police were called just before midnight on Monday, 2 January, following reports of a man being assaulted at a supported residential facility on Lansbury Drive. Officers and the London Ambulance Service rushed to the scene.
Despite their best efforts, 60-year-old John Hallissey was declared dead at the scene. A post-mortem confirmed he died from compression to the neck.
Both Men Were Residents at the Same Care Home
The suspect and the victim both lived at the accommodation. Detectives from the Met’s Specialist Crime Command are supporting John Hallissey’s family and continuing their investigations.
Enquiries remain ongoing.
