Man Stabbed to Death in Thornhill – Multiple Arrests Made
Mark Noke, 64, was fatally stabbed in the chest in the early hours of Saturday, February 25, at his home on Warburton Road, Thornhill.
Series of Arrests Shake Southampton and Surrounding Areas
- A 29-year-old woman from Southampton was arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender but has since been released on bail.
- A 25-year-old Southampton man was arrested on suspicion of murder and later released without charge.
- A 27-year-old woman from Gosport, detained on March 17 for assisting an offender, is currently on police bail.
- Six men aged between 20 and 31 have all been arrested on suspicion of murder and released on bail.
- A 39-year-old man, previously arrested for assisting an offender, remains on bail.
Police Hunt Continues for Key Suspect
Acting Detective Chief Inspector Howard Broadribb said:
“We are continuing to explore all relevant lines of enquiry into Mark’s death. We have seized a vehicle believed to be linked to the crime and are following up all information received.
“We urge anyone with information on the whereabouts of Leighton Tabone to come forward. Anyone harbouring him risks arrest for aiding a criminal.”
