Teen to Face Court Over Wild Ashford Town Centre Brawl

17-Year-Old Charged with Affray

A 17-year-old boy from Ashford is set to appear in court after being charged with affray following a chaotic disturbance in the town centre.

Mass Arrests Spark Police Probe

He was one of seven people arrested during a police operation targeting a fracas in County Square on Tuesday, 4 February 2020.

Court Date Set

The teen remains in custody and is due to face Margate Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, 6 February.

Others Released but Under Investigation

Two other 17-year-old boys and a 19-year-old man from Ashford were released on bail.
A 26-year-old London man was released under investigation.
