High-speed drama on North End Road as police car flips during chase!
Police chase ends in chaos
A dramatic police pursuit on Saturday, 8 April, went pear-shaped at around 5.10pm in Fulham’s North End Road. Officers were trying to stop a suspicious car as part of an ongoing investigation when the driver refused to pull over.
Driver causes police car to overturn
The rogue motorist collided head-on with an empty marked police car, flipping it on its side. Undeterred, the driver sped off and slammed into a second police vehicle. The high-speed collisions caused injuries but, luckily, nothing life-threatening.
Officers treated after crash
- Additional police, London Fire Brigade, and Ambulance teams rushed to the scene.
- Two officers from the second police car were treated for minor injuries.
Commander Kyle Gordon: “Our officers confront crime every day to keep Londoners safe. Today, two officers were hurt by a man desperate to escape. It’s only luck these injuries weren’t worse.”
Suspect arrested and in custody
The driver has been arrested on suspicion of multiple offences. He was taken to hospital as a precaution but now remains in police custody while investigations continue.
