Fire crews rushed to a dramatic plane crash in Stockbridge after a light aircraft made an emergency landing in a field.

Plane Crash-Lands on Marsh Court Road

Firefighters from Andover and Alton were called out just after 5.30pm on Monday. A single-engine plane came down in a field on Marsh Court Road, Stockbridge.

Pilot Escapes Unharmed After Engine Failure

The pilot walked away without injury after the forced landing, believed to be caused by engine trouble. Emergency crews quickly sealed off the scene.

Firefighters Secure Crash Site

Firefighters made the area safe before heading back to their stations. A Hampshire Fire and Rescue spokesperson said:

“We were called at 5.43pm and sent two crews from Andover and one from Alton. The plane had crashed during landing near Marsh Court Road.”
