Folkestone Pokemon Card Heist: Man Arrested After Knifepoint Robbery

A 21-year-old man has been arrested following a brazen knifepoint robbery at a Folkestone shop where cash and rare Pokemon cards were stolen.

Knife Threat Sparks Looting of Cash and Darkness Ablaze Cards

The incident happened on Tuesday, 20 July, at a Sandgate Road shop. Staff were threatened with a knife and forced to hand over money from the till along with a box of coveted Pokémon Darkness Ablaze trading cards.

Suspect Held and Released on Bail

Police arrested the Folkestone man on Sunday, 8 August, charging him with robbery and cannabis possession. He is now out on bail until 11 September while investigations continue.
