Manhunt Underway for Romford Bus Sex Attacker
Detectives have launched a hunt for a sex offender who shocked a young woman on a 175 bus in Romford.
Victim Targeted on Late-Night Bus
The 22-year-old woman got on the 175 bus at around 2.10am on Friday, 9 November 2019. The bus was en route to Dagenham. She sat on the upper deck near the front, but her journey took a terrifying turn at the next stop.
Man Exposes Himself Before Disappearing
A man boarded and sat right behind her. He then indecently exposed himself for several minutes. Realising what was happening, the woman quickly got off the bus. The man then left at the following stop.
Police Describe Suspect
- Asian appearance
- Medium build, around 5ft 8in
- Early twenties
- Dark, slightly curly messy hair and stubble
- Wearing a red hooded jacket, blue jeans, black trainers
- Carrying a black bag over his right shoulder
