Stabbing Shocker at Selfridges on Oxford Street
Police are hunting for witnesses after a stabbing inside the iconic Selfridges store on Oxford Street. The drama unfolded at 6.25pm on Friday, 21 January, when officers were called to reports of a fight breaking out inside the busy shopping hotspot.
Two Men Stabbed and Rushed to Hospital
Emergency crews, including the London Ambulance Service" data-wpil-keyword-link="linked">London Ambulance Service, rushed to the scene. Two men in their 20s were found injured and quickly taken to hospital with stab wounds. Thankfully, both were discharged later the same day.
Two Arrested and Bailed
One of the injured men was arrested, alongside a third man, also in his 20s. Both suspects have since been bailed as detectives from the Met’s Central West CID probe the incident.
Selfridges Backs Police Appeal
Selfridges is fully cooperating with the investigation. Police urge anyone who saw anything or has information to come forward. Witnesses can call 101 quoting reference CAD 5667/21jan.
