Bus Hits Woman in Shocking Morning Smash on Eden Street

Pedestrian Injured in Early Morning Crash

Police were called at 8.50am on Monday 20 May after reports a bus collided with a woman on Eden Street. London Ambulance Service rushed to the scene to provide urgent medical care.

Victim Taken to Hospital – Condition Stable

The woman, aged in her 20s, was taken to hospital for treatment. Thankfully, her injuries are not believed to be life-threatening. Her next of kin have been informed and she remains under medical care.

Driver Arrested and Bailed

The bus driver was arrested on suspicion of causing injury by careless driving and failing to stop at the scene. They have since been released on bail pending further enquiries.

Police Seek Witnesses and Footage

The Serious Collision Investigation Unit is on the case. Officers urge anyone with CCTV, dash cam footage, or who witnessed the crash to contact them on 020 8543 5157 or 101, quoting reference CAD 1733/20MAY2024.
