Man Stabbed in Late-Night Attack on Pelham Street
Emergency crews rushed to a Pelham Street flat just before midnight on Monday (19 July) after a 20-year-old man was found stabbed in the chest. He was rushed to hospital and remains in serious condition.
Teen Arrested for Attempted Murder
Police quickly arrested an 18-year-old local man on suspicion of attempted murder and grievous bodily harm with intent. He is currently in custody for questioning.
Police Appeal for Witnesses
Detective Inspector Simon Morgan said: “We are working fast to get to the bottom of what happened. Understandably, this incident may cause concern locally, so residents will notice an increased police presence while our inquiries continue.”
