A 37-year-old man has been hit with serious charges after a stabbing in Sheerness left a man fighting for his life.

Colin Hinds Arrested After Violent Dispute

Colin Hinds, from Manor Road, Queenborough, allegedly stabbed a man in his 30s following a heated argument in the Marine Road area on Monday, 10 August 2020. The victim suffered grievous bodily harm and needed hospital treatment for his injuries.

Swift Police Action Leads to Charges

Kent Police tracked down and arrested Hinds in Essex the same day. He faces charges of causing grievous bodily harm and possessing an offensive weapon.

Next Court Date Set

Hinds appeared at Medway Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, 11 August, where he was remanded in custody. His case will next be heard at Maidstone Crown Court on Tuesday, 8 September.
