Teen Fatally Stabbed on Elmfield Way Sparks Murder Probe
A murder investigation was launched after 18-year-old Ahmed Yasin-Ali was found with fatal stab wounds in Elmfield Way, W9, in the early hours of 15 July 2020.
Multiple Arrests Made – Suspects Released on Bail or Investigation
- On 24 October, a 20-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murder. He has since been released on bail until November.
- Earlier, on 17 July, a 23-year-old man and a 17-year-old boy were arrested on suspicion of murder but have both been released under investigation.
- On 26 July, another 20-year-old suspect was arrested for conspiracy to murder and is now released under investigation.
- A 25-year-old was also arrested on suspicion of involvement in the murder on 30 July and subsequently released under investigation.
- Most recently, on 6 October, a 20-year-old man was arrested for murder and later bailed until November.
Investigation Ongoing as Police Hunt for Answers
Police continue to piece together events surrounding the stabbing, with several suspects still under investigation or out on bail. The community remains on edge as officers seek justice for Ahmed Yasin-Ali.
