Woman Charged Over Barking Shooting
A woman has been charged following a shooting in Barking, East London.
Rushelle McLaughlin, 26, from Northolt, Middlesex, was hit with a serious charge on Monday, 15 June. She faces possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life.
Serious Injuries After Wilmington Gardens Shooting
The charge relates to a shooting on 4 June in Wilmington Gardens. Police found two injured men at the scene. One suffered gunshot wounds and remains in critical condition. The other sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
Investigation Underway by Specialist Detectives
McLaughlin is now in custody and is due to appear at Barkingside Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, 16 June.
Trident detectives from the Specialist Crime Command are leading the probe. The investigation is ongoing.
