Arson Probe Launched After Blaze Damages Isle of Wight Building
Police are hunting witnesses after a motorcycle went up in flames in Newport, Isle of Wight.
Blaze Erupts at Trafalgar Court
Officers rushed to Trafalgar Court, Union Street, shortly after 4am on November 27 following reports of a motorcycle on fire. The vehicle was so badly burnt it’s impossible to identify the make or model.
Fire Spreads, Damages Building and Archway
The blaze also caused significant damage to a nearby building and an archway. Firefighters tackling the inferno spotted several people passing by, likely heading home from a night out.
Police Urge Witnesses to Step Forward
“If you walked past the scene in the early hours and saw anything suspicious, please get in touch,” said PC Tom Wyld. “Your information could be crucial to our investigation.”
