Arson Chaos in Farnborough: Man Arrested After House Blaze

Police have launched a full arson probe after a dramatic house fire ripped through a Farnborough home. The blaze broke out just after 1.30pm on Tuesday, 17 July, at a property on Alexandra Road, causing extensive damage and forcing neighbours to evacuate.

Fire Footage Could Crack Case

Officers say several people were filming the scene on their phones. Detectives want to see this footage, hoping it holds vital clues. Detective Sergeant Stephen Court said:

“We’re aware that there were a number of people filming the activity at the incident. We would ask these people to contact us and share this footage. They may have captured parts of the incident that could be vital to our investigation.”

Suspect in Custody

A 33-year-old Farnborough man is now held on suspicion of arson with intent to endanger life. Police continue to investigate the full circumstances of the savage fire.
