Teen Stabbed to Death in Edgware Park – Seven Arrested

The Met Police have launched a murder probe after an 18-year-old was fatally stabbed in Montrose Park, Edgware, on Bank Holiday Monday. Seven men are now in custody.

Violent Clash Ends in Tragedy

  • Police were called at 5:54pm on May 31 following reports of a fight between a group of males in Montrose Park.
  • Officers found the teenage victim lying wounded in a tennis court area, suffering from a stab injury.
  • Despite emergency first aid and efforts by London’s Air Ambulance and London Ambulance Service, the young man was pronounced dead at 7:19pm.

Investigation Underway as Community in Shock

A crime scene remains in place while detectives from the Specialist Crime Command conduct a full investigation. Formal identification and post-mortem examinations are pending.

The Met spokesman said:

“Seven males have been arrested on suspicion of offences including affray and attempted murder. They remain in police custody. Officers are working to establish if there were other victims.”
