New Image Released in Shocking Lambeth Acid Attack Manhunt

Police have issued a new image of Abdul Shokoor Ezedi, the key suspect in the horrendous acid attack in Lambeth, London. Superintendent Gabriel Cameron has made a public appeal for help in tracking down Ezedi, who is considered dangerous and should not be approached.

Last Known Sighting Captured on Camera

The released photo shows Ezedi at a Tesco store on Caledonian Road, N1, at 8.48pm on January 31. Notably, he has visible injuries on the right side of his face, making him easy to identify.

“If you see Ezedi, call 999 immediately. He should NOT be approached,” warned Superintendent Cameron.

Victims and Heroes: The Aftermath of the Attack

The attack left a 31-year-old woman and her two young daughters, aged eight and three, hospitalised. While none are in life-threatening condition, the injuries to the mother and younger daughter could be life-changing.

Three brave women who rushed to help suffered minor burns but have now been discharged, as have five police officers injured responding to the scene. A man in his 50s who assisted refused hospital treatment for minor injuries.

“These individuals, including my officers, deserve enormous praise for their courage in a terrifying situation. We will support them fully,” said Superintendent Cameron.

Authorities Urge Public to Come Forward with Information

An incident room is now open, and anyone with information about Ezedi’s whereabouts is urged to call 0207 175 2784. Police also encourage locals and drivers to check doorbell and dashcam footage that could tip off the suspect’s location.

Ezedi is believed to be known to the victims, but the investigation is ongoing, with police working alongside partner agencies across the UK to hunt him down.

Community patrols are increasing in the area to reassure residents and gather leads. Anonymous tips can also be sent to Crimestoppers at 0800 555 111.
