Sex Offender Nabbed for Brutal North London Triple Stabbings and Attempted Murder
A dangerous sex offender, Evans Innocent, 44, has been charged with attempted murder and multiple stabbing attacks across north London.
Man Charged Over Triple Stabbings and More
Evans Innocent, a 44-year-old with no fixed address, faces court this Saturday, 25 April, at Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court. He is charged with:
- Attempted murder (21 April, Caledonian Road N7)
- Two counts of grievous bodily harm (3 April, Trinity Road N22 & 7 April, Whittington Park N19)
- Six counts of possession of an offensive weapon (knives) in public
- Three counts of theft in a dwelling
- Failing to comply with the Sex Offenders Register notification
Victims Suffer Knife Attacks
Innocent’s latest alleged attack left a woman in her 40s stabbed at 6:15am on 21 April in Caledonian Road. She was hospitalised but has since been discharged.
Two men were also victims in earlier attacks at Trinity Road and Whittington Park where they were stabbed in the leg.
Arrest and Charges
Police arrested Innocent on 22 April in Caledonian Road on suspicion of grievous bodily harm. While in custody, he was further charged with the other stabbing attacks and offences.
This arrest brings relief to locals rattled by a series of violent crimes in north London.
