Blackheath Bus Stabbing Shocks Southeast London
A 24-year-old man was rushed to hospital after being stabbed during a violent brawl on a bus in Blackheath, southeast London.
Knife Attack Erupts on Bus at Busy Junction
The brutal stabbing happened just after 4.30pm on Sunday, 30 March, near the junction of Stratheden Road and Langton Way, SE3. Emergency teams – including the Metropolitan Police and London Ambulance Service – raced to the scene following reports of the attack.
Three Injured, One Held
Officers found the 24-year-old man with a stab wound and he was taken to hospital. Thankfully, medics say his injuries are not life-threatening or life-changing.
A 40-year-old man was arrested nearby on suspicion of grievous bodily harm. He also suffered a head injury during the fight and was treated in hospital before being taken into police custody.
During the chaos, a police officer was hurt by flying glass and needed medical treatment.
Ongoing Investigation Underway
A crime scene remains in place as officers dig deeper into what sparked the stabbing on the bus. Police are urging anyone with information to come forward.
