Man Arrested Over Shocking Sexual Offence at Fort Victoria Park Bailed

A man arrested following a serious sexual offence at Fort Victoria Country Park, Yarmouth, on Monday 31 August has been bailed until 28 September. The investigation is ongoing with strict conditions attached to his bail.
Police Urge Public to Come Forward
Supt. Sarah Jackson, Isle of Wight District Commander, praised detectives for their tireless work. She appealed for anyone with information to get in touch. “We believe there may be other witnesses who haven’t come forward yet,” she said.

Supt. Jackson warned parents to be vigilant with children playing outdoors. She urged youngsters to look out for each other and avoid talking to strangers. Suspicious behaviour should be reported immediately by calling 101.
