Man Found Dead in Portsmouth Industrial Estate Sparks Police Lockdown
Police have cordoned off a section of Claybank Road Industrial Estate in Portsmouth after a man was found dead inside a vehicle early this morning.
Death Discovered Just After Dawn
Officers swooped on the scene just after 6am following the grim discovery. A heavy police presence remains, with several vehicles parked along the road as detectives investigate.
Shocked Workers Left in the Dark
Workers from nearby Hancocks revealed they arrived at 1am to find the area already sealed off. They say police offered little information, but the heavy activity had them on edge.
Police Confirm Investigation Underway
A Hampshire Police spokesperson said detectives were called to the scene and have launched a full investigation. A vehicle was removed from the cordoned-off area just after 9am.
