Man Shot in Brixton: Police Hunt SUV and Witnesses

Chaos erupted in Brixton last Wednesday night as a man was shot in the leg. Police and paramedics rushed to Elm Park, SW2, at 10.25pm after reports of gunfire.

31-Year-Old Targeted in Multiple Shots

The victim, aged 31, was struck in the leg. Paramedics treated him on the scene before rushing him to hospital. Thankfully, his injury is not life threatening.

Police confirm several shots were fired during the attack, but no one else was hurt.

Trident Unit Leads Hunt for Dark SUV

Detectives from the Specialist Crime’s Trident unit are probing the shooting, keeping an open mind about the motive. They are desperate to trace a dark-coloured SUV spotted speeding from the scene immediately after the incident.

No arrests have been made yet.
