Romford man arrested after violent racial attacks in Dagenham

Food thrown, woman seriously hurt

A 28-year-old from Romford faces charges after a shocking rampage in Dagenham on Sunday, 13 October. The man allegedly attacked two people near Tesco Express in Heathway Mall.

Inside the shop, he threw food in one victim’s face. Outside, a woman suffered serious injuries in a brutal assault and was rushed to hospital.

Suspect lashes out at police

After being arrested, the suspect didn’t stop. Authorities say he assaulted a police officer while in custody. Now, he’s also charged with assaulting an emergency worker alongside racially aggravated harassment and Section 20 Grievous Bodily Harm.

Police continue investigation

A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said:

“We were called to The Heathway in Dagenham at around 20:56 on Sunday, 13 October, following reports of two people being assaulted. The suspect was inside Tesco Express where he threw food in a victim’s face before seriously attacking a woman outside. She was taken to hospital with serious injuries.”

The man remains in custody as police continue probing the full details of this disturbing incident.
