Man Charged with Murder After Mental Health Facility Attack

A man has been charged with murder following the death of a victim attacked at a mental health facility in Hillingdon.

Attack at Mental Health Centre

The incident occurred around 5:10pm on Sunday, 1 March, at a mental health facility on Pield Heath Road, Hillingdon. The victim, 27-year-old David Siirak, suffered serious head injuries in the assault.

Suspect Arrested and Charged

After a police appeal, officers arrested 26-year-old Ronnell Dennis of Pield Heath Road on Monday, 2 March, on suspicion of attempted murder. Dennis was charged the following day and appeared at Uxbridge Magistrates’ Court on 4 March, where he was remanded in custody.

Victim Dies; Charges Upgraded

Tragically, David Siirak died from his injuries in hospital on Wednesday, 4 March. A post-mortem found the cause of death to be head injuries, with a final report still pending. His next of kin have been informed.

Following this, Dennis appeared at Kingston Crown Court on Tuesday, 30 June, where the charge was upgraded from attempted murder to murder. A trial is set for Monday, 24 August.
